Rare guest. Occurs in the waters around Southwest Greenland where the first specimen was caught in 1964 in the districts of Holsteinsborg and Sukkertoppen (Ref 9926); [related information: off western Greenland, a few specimens were known from Sisimiut (about 66°55'N, 53°50'W) in 1964 and Manitsoq (65°23'N, 53°00'W) in 1981]. This species does not appear to have been recorded from Greenland since 1981(Ref. 119696). Also Ref. 9925, 43278.
