Long-term conservation program exists for this species (Ref. 41386). This Ukranian lamprey was initially localised only in the Račí potok Brook in a limited extent. At present, only the remains of the population occur in the area , and the probability of of its extinction in the country is great. Protected under Law 114/1992 and Intimation 395/1992) (Ref. 52149). Also Ref. 54732. Status of threat: Critically endangered, A(1a, 2), B (2a, b), D, E (Ref. 12269, 12283, 52149). |
