Known from several localities in the mainstream and tributaries of the Daying Jiang River in the Irrawaddy drainage, southwestern Yunnan (Ref. 37787). Also collected in a small stream leading to the Daying Jiang, about 30 km from the Chinese-Myanmar border (Ref. 36341). Known from Yunnan Yingjiang, Liang River, and Tengchong(Ref.33782).
