While used in fish farming mostly for the production of bester, these species are endangered in the wild. A pure population is kept on a single fish farm in a warm-water system, stock still consists of immature individuals (Ref. 32234). Also Ref. 683, 32234, 41386, 52149, 54732, 89840. Status of threat: extinct in the wild (Ref. 90060). |
