Introduced and well established and self-sustaining in a few selected streams on the Aberdare mountains and Mount Kenya (Ref. 52331), thus in the Athi-Galana-Sabaki drainage (Ref. 30558), and also in the Maron River on the Cherengani Hills (Ref. 52331). It was introduced on many occasions from U.K. for sport fishing since about 1910, but now largely replaced by Rainbow trout (Ref. 52331). Also Ref. 1739, 7306, 13337, 74657.
