Occurs throughout mainland Alaska, including the Alaskan Peninsula (1371, 27547). Incidentally taken in the brackish nearshore water of the Alaskan Beaufort Sea (Ref. 28503). Ice fishing for sport is reasonably (Ref. 27547). Also Ref. 1998, 6876, 10280, 11366, 43202, 86798, 119194.
