Found in the Kapuas River mainstream, about 7 km southwest of Nanga Silat (Ref. 13663). Recorded from Danau Sentarum National Park in the Kapuas basin of Borneo, Kalimantan Barat where they are most common during the wet seaon, especially from November to December (Ref. 56749). Utilized to flavor bakwan, a local kind of sago crackers (Ref. 56749). Also Ref. 94476.
