Known from Akgöl at Ereðli in central Anatolia (Ref. 78620). Also Ref. 106151. Threatened due to habitat loss, eutrophication/pollution, construction of weirs/dams in rivers, water abstraction and aquaculture/introduction (Ref. 58342). Also Ref. 6376, 12255, 26100.
