Presently found only in irrigation reservoirs of the lower Zarafshan, Kashka-Darya and in Khorezm district, but absent from lakes (Ref. 11145). One of the reasons for its disappearance is the dam-construction that caused clearing of water (Ref. 37487). Also Ref. 593. |
