Occurs in the Mekong basin (Ref. 12693). Found around the Tonle Sap Great Lake and river (Ref. 36651). Known from Réam, Kompong Réat, Stung Sang (Ref. 36654) and Sangke river, Battambang province (Ref. 41486). Occurs in shallow and sluggish waters (Ref. 36686). Also Ref. 36662, 45353, 94476.
