Reported from the Kunene (Ref. 120641) and from the "Cuanza (Atlantic coastal)" (Ref. 120641), although the latter probably refers to the Cuanzan drainage basin or Cuanza Ichthyological Province, including various Angolan coastal basins, and not (only) the Cuanza river basin. Also reported from the Camaloa River, a Caluango River tributary (Luangwe River system, Kasai drainage, middle Congo River basin) (Ref. 11970), but this is unconfirmed in Ref. 120641. Known only from a few museum specimens, further specimens are required for study (Ref. 7248). Also Ref. 5613, 52307.
