Mottled orange anteriorly, red blotches posteriorly (Ref. 1602). White spot dorsally behind end of soft dorsal fin (Ref. 37816). Description: Characterized by having 6-17 coarse serrae at upper margin of preopercle; greatest depth of body 3.0-3.5 in SL; deeply notched dorsal fin between spinous and soft portions; rounded caudal fin (Ref. 90102). |
