Diagnosis

Pelvic fins totally united into rounded disk. First dorsal high, greyish; spots and elongate spines absent; when appressed reaching D2 origin. Second dorsal with dusky stripe mesially; whitish spots medial to this stripe. Caudal fin blackish medially. Anal fin translucent, spots and stripes absent (Ref. 35996).
