Diagnosis

Body and head uniformly silvery-ochre; depth approximately 50% of SL. Supraneural bones 2. Scales between 5th dorsal fin spine base and lateral line 3.5. Last dorsal fin spine almost the same length or slightly shorter than penultimate spine. Anal spines generally slender . Caudal fin short, lobes broadly rounded. Pelvic fin rays with wide white margin posteriorly (Ref. 39283).
