Diagnosis |
For field identification purposes, it is easily distinguished from all species of Devario by its color pattern including a wide light horizontal band along the middle of the side bordering a wide dark lateral band along the abdominal side, and the long rostral and maxillary barbels (Ref. 84468). Description: Dorsal fin ii.7½, ii.8½; anal fin iii.11½ , iii.12½; pectoral fin rays i.12, i.13; pelvic fin i.6, i.7 (Ref. 84468). |
