Dorsal spines (total): 3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-10; Anal spines: 3; Anal soft rays: 5 - 6. Diagnosis: Labeobarbus pojeri differs from L. caudovittatus in absence of dark bands on the caudal fin and in the well ossified last unbranched dorsal-fin ray (Ref. 93587).
