Etymology: Acrossocheilus: Greek, akro = topmost, summit + Greek, krossos = tassel, fringe (Ref. 45335); ikedai: Named in honor of Navy General Kiyoshi Ikeda.
Eponymy: Kiyoshi Ikeda was a General in the Japanese Imperial Navy during WW2. Harada was doubtless indulging in a little war-time patriotism. (Ref. 128868), visit book page.
