Short description Morphology | Morphometrics

Dorsal spines (total): 8; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-14; Anal spines: 2; Anal soft rays: 12 - 13; Vertebrae: 26. Head and thorax pale gray-green body pale green; blackish scale edges; five narrow black bars; caudal fin dark purplish gray; pectoral fin with a small black spot on the base. Deep body, 1.75-2.0 in SL. 21-23 (usually 22) tubed lateral line scales (Ref. 33558).
