Radios blandos dorsales (total): 11-12; Radios blandos anales: 18 - 21; Vértebra: 38 - 40. With numerous iridescent green spots on central stripe when live; absence of black irregular pattern on area below preorbital to central stripe; area just above anal-fin base without 3-4 dark brown semi-circles, which appear circular when body is viewed ventrally; brownish caudal fin with 3-7 narrow iridescent vertical gold bars; and absence of markings on anal and pelvic fins (Ref. 56386).
