Etymology: Phenacostethus: Greek,phenax, -akos = decpetive + Greek, stetho, stethion = brest; literal = to prick a little breast (Ref. 45335); sikat: Name 'sikat' from a Bahasa word meaning 'brush', in reference to the brush-shaped external morphology of the seminal papilla of adult males of the new species.
