Taggstrålar i ryggfenan (totalt): 4; Mjukstrålar i ryggfenan (totalt): 9; Taggstrålar i analfenan 0; Mjukstrålar i analfenan: 7. First dorsal spine not elongate. Posterior half of lateral line on body with many upward and downward short branches. First dorsal fin with about 4 longitudinal dark lines. Attains 14 cm SL.
Found on shelf edges (Ref. 43239).
