背鰭 (合計): 9; 臀鰭: 12; 脊つい: 40 - 41. Pectoral fin modally with 14 rays; pectoral fin extending far beyond origin of ventral fin; 16-17 scales around caudal peduncle; modally 8 scales above lateral line; and maxillary never extending to vertical of anterior margin of orbit (Ref. 95038).
