Espinas dorsales (total): 13; Radios blandos dorsales (total): 7; Espinas anales 3; Radios blandos anales: 10. Body pale without distinct dusky to dark markings, only a small dusky spot on each body scale and several dusky marks on head in freshly preserved specimens. Subopercle with 9 to 11 scales in an anteriorly tapering row. (Ref 9823)
