পৃষ্ঠীয় কাঁটা (মোট ): 0; পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ): 64-68; পায়ূ কাঁটা 0; পায়ূর নরম পাখনা্তুন্ড: 44 - 48; কশেরুকা : 32. Eyes on left side of body. Conspicuous spot at bases of last rays of dorsal and anal fins. Caudal fin rounded (Ref. 559).

Rare. Minimum depth at 121 m and feeds on bottom-living animals (Ref. 9797).
