Épines dorsales (Total) : 0; Épines anales: 0. Elongated pelvic-fin rays reaching at most to the origin of the anal fin. Body color is brownish-red dorsally, becoming paler ventrally. Vertical fins distally dark, sometimes with a pale margin.
